What does create mean?
Introduction to create:
In order to create something we first need to understand what it means.
To create something means to invent something. It means to produce and develop an idea. It can also mean manufacture or to bring into existence, a man made item or to be engaged in creative activity.
When I think about create I think about all the things that I enjoy doing. This helps remind me what I like and what I get the most enjoyment out of. If I wanted to create something for fun, business or personal use, I would first think about what it means, why I want to and what I’m hoping to get out of it.
If you don’t have the right mind set when it comes to creating something you will find it actually is quite difficult to develop that idea or finish your activity.
To help with creating something it is a good idea to use a list of things you have done, things you enjoy and things you want to do. Using a list can help keep track of your thoughts and ideas and is a good reminder. Alternatively you can make a mind map/spider diagram or use picture to illustrate your thoughts. Finding the time:
Ok so you work hard and you’re always busy and can’t sit down for a minute. The kids need seeing to, the cookers on the fritz, your boss keeps calling, you need to go shopping and your friends want you to go out. Stop stop stop, calm down, one step at a time.
Look I’ll make this easy for you, write down or think of all the things you have to do. Now throw it away because I’m about to tell you something, now are you sitting down?
Life is hard but there is an important lesson to be learned, but it doesn't have to be that hard. If you do not want to do something then you don’t have to do it. Let someone else do it for a change.
Now think about what you love and enjoy, what is it you crave most?
It can be anything like cooking, watching a film, painting or even fixing a broken object.
Why not give it a try and start or finish that forgotten project?
Ok still not sure what you want to do then stop what you are doing, turn off the phone, put the kids down and go for a walk. It is not until we take a step back that we learn more about ourselves and what we want. After identifying this we can start putting just a few minutes of a day away for us.
Now how can you fit it in?
By creating a little motivation. If we never take time out for ourselves we become unhappy, stressed and ill. Nobody want’s that, if your anything like me you’ll spend much of your time trying to make other people happy and for filling their needs. But what about you don’t you deserve to be happy to.
You want to create something but with no free time how do you expect to make it possible?
Think about making time is like a project, something that’s been given to you by your boss, friend or an appointment. Tell yourself you can do it and will do it rather than I will try. If you can convince yourself this, then you’re already half way to winning the battle. Now you are half way to an energy boost to your creative and recharged success.
If you choose to ignore this and not make time for you then you will find completing projects, attention to detail and even remembering things hard to accomplish. So what are you waiting for get started today and make time for you.
